Belle (Fantasy’s It’s All About Me) is a Standard Manchester Terrier who follows and protects JamieWilson. To learn more about the breed, go to http://www.geocities.com/manchestersforever/

Belle is a joyous and energetic dog. She loves to play with other dogs, but takes her time getting to know new people. In 2003 Belle made her flyball debut and earned her FDCh title. Since then, she has continued to earn points and move up the rankings.  For 2006, we hope to attain FMCh.

Cody Bear (Likity Spit) is an Australian Shepherd and is owned by my parents Helene and Dollard Dorais. Cody was born June 11, 2003 and has been keeping us busy since he was 3 months old!  He lives with his handler/big sister Michele and his Aussie “gal pals” Shelbi and Tasha.

In the last year, Cody has earned 3 titles in Flyball. He truly loves the sport!  He’s currently training in agility and sheep herding and has just recently joined disc dog team (Disc Dogs of Southern California). In addition, he’s making his first debut with Dock Diving in the summer of 2006 and will even be competing against RockNRovers teammate “Nevada”.

He also enjoys hiking, boating, swimming, riding in an intertube and taking an occasion ride on a watercraft.  At home Cody takes pleasure with helping with chores around the house and just being a big goof! He’s definitely entertaining and a handful.

Cody’s personality and attitude is best summed up with “Bring it on and let’s do it”.  His drive and willingness to please makes him so enjoyable!

We feel blessed to have such a talented, loving and loyal companion in our lives! He’s is one special guy!

Freckles is an Australian Shepherd / Retriever mix (we think!!) and is spoilt and cosseted by Rob Joubert.  She was born sometime in September 1998 and was adopted at the age of  about 8 weeks from Castaic Animal Shelter in November 1998.   In her puppy days, she achieved her Canine Good Citizen award (now she wouldn't be able to sit quietly that long!!).  Freckles has her ONYX (NAFA), Agility Dog, Advanced Agility Dog & Master Agility Dog (USDAA), Novice Agility Certificate (NADAC) and Basic Disc Dog (IDDHA) titles.

Freckles is also handled in USDAA Junior Handler agility by Tarryn, Rob & Gail's daughter.

Gizmo is a Papillion that owns Tarryn Joubert. Gizmo's very first Flyball tournament was on July 12, 2003 at the Catchers on the Fly tournament in Del Mar where he earned his Flyball Dog title on his first day and also helped his team to a second place. Gizmo is currently ranked as the #9 Papillon in NAFA.

Howdy is a Border Collie and is owned by Joe Quinlivan.  Howdy has his FM.  "Howdy was born on March 6, 2000 and he came to me at 10 weeks. I picked him up at his breeder's Jack & Debi Fesler's ranch in Santa Maria, CA and we went straight up to National Forest land and set up camp where Howdy was assigned his first  Job: Campfire Companion.(a job he excells at still).  Since that time Howdy has been assigned many new Jobs (Traveling Partner, FlyBall Dog, Therapy Dog, and Head of Marketing for the "Howdy House").  In the Spring and Summer 2001 we embarked on the 1st annual "HOWDY  Introductory Tour" where we visited 12 or 13 National Parks and initiated the  "Pet My Dog For A Quarter" Program. This program only cost me $40 or $50.

As Top Salesman(Dog) for TEX EFX and member of the Traveling Squad  of  the 'Rock N Rovers Flyball Team' we are looking forward to many more Road Miles and New Road Friends. "

Jaxson is a Jack Russell Terrier and is owned and handled by Gail Joubert.  He was born sometime in May 1997 and we adopted him in March 2000.  Jaxson has his FM (NAFA) and Agility Dog and Advanced Agility Dog (USDAA) titles.

Gail says that she has never met a dog more willing to lick NOR a more "comfort loving" dog than Jaxson.

Jaxson is also handled in USDAA Junior Handler agility by Tarryn, Rob & Gail's daughter.

Pippin was rescued in December 2000 by Cathy Rice. She is a North American Shepherd with tons of energy and spirit.  She has been in training for Flyball and Agility since 2001 and finally was able to compete in her first Flyball Tournament in May 2002.  Training has always been a challenge but what an amazing surprise she has turned out to be. She ran her first tournament, her drive and enthusiasm were as high as any seasoned dog, and we all found out that she has wings on her feet. She ran fast enough and well enough to become a Flyball Dog Champion on her first weekend of competition and she has years of fun ahead of her.  What a great little dog!

Razzle: "Blue Cedar's Razzle"   Razzle:  Born October 17, 2001   Razzle is probably one of the "softest" dogs I've ever owned.   It took a full year to teach her flyball, but once she "got it" she realized she loves it.   She started racing 12/07/02 on one of those "do or pull a team" weekends.   She surprised EVERYONE, and had a flawless racing weekend!!!!    Jane usually handles her, but sometimes, just for fun (or necessity), she's turned over to another handler.

She also loves frisbee, swimming and an occasional run through an agility course.  She also competes on occasion in DUCK diving.   That's not a typo....but reflective of her water entry.

She's a wonderful dog with tons of heart and the biggest desire to please that I've ever seen

Rico:  Rico Suave was adopted by Dan as a puppy in September 2002.   He's been a little training challenge and has been affectionately named "GOOFY" by several of his former and present  team mates.    He's a big lug of a guy.....with a huge heart and a small.....well nevermind.

He started racing September 20, 2003, much to everyone's surprise.   He knows his job well, and rarely makes a mistake.....he's been known to make some pretty miraculous recoveries where everyone just stands and watches in disbelief.

Rico....the big dog......with the big heart.....who could!!!

Riot:  Riot, the dog previously known as Cappy:   Riot was a breeder's dog until his growth spurt put him "out of standard" at 11 months.    He was adopted at one year of age by Jane in October 1998 (who traveled to Ontario, Canada to pick him up).   His short career began September 2000.....but a painful back and an 11 inch jump height shortened his career.  Jane is hoping that now, since he's a veteran and able to now jump 8 inches, that he can possibly play a few more times before he's "forever retired".  If not, he'll have to be content with "team mascot" and "comic relief".

He has a love for this sport which defies words.

Roxanne (Windancer Wild Blue Rose) ughhhh:    Born:  February 18, 1996 (Father:  Spin   Grandmother:  Meg)

This was Jane's introduction to "sports dogs".   Little did she know when she bought Roxanne, her life would change forever.   I doubt Jane remembers a "time before flyball" now.   Roxanne competes in frisbee, dock diving, agility and flyball, and is a Delta Society Therapy Dog.

Roxanne began racing March 1, 1997 and is still very driven to "keep playing".   She joined Rock n Rovers at the tender age of ten, and doesn't see any reason to retire.  She will occasionally make an appearance on a Veteran's team, but she's hoping to be an integral part of RnR's regular or multi breed teams for a few more years.

Xsindi, Border Collie (Phyllis Cardoza)

Zamboni:  (previously known as Banjo)  was adopted by Jane (Feb 2006) when a plea was put out on the flyball list that this (steak stealing) dog needed a new home.  Not really wanting or needing another dog......this 'acquisition' was done reluctantly.  This was his 3rd or 4th home....he even spent 18 months in a shelter......seems this dog had problem upon problem and never stayed anywhere (other than the shelter) for too long.

He came partially trained....and after 2 months.....was given a chance to do warmups at a tournament.   He surprised EVERYONE and got to actually race a few times.....and was able to focus enough to have a few clean runs.

So far, so good for this little guy with a huge heart.    He's ten pounds of pure wonder.   Wonder what he'll do next.
